We at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church believe our mission is to glorify God through our worship and to serve one another and our neighbors through caring fellowship, Christian education, and outreach to our community in the Name of Christ.
We are members of the worldwide Anglican Communion, partner Churches in communion with the Archbishop of Canterbury. We believe that Scripture, tradition, and reason are the sources of authority in our corporate and personal lives. We see thinking and free intellectual inquiry as friends of spirituality, not its foes.
We, therefore, do not fear but welcome diversity.
St. Barnabas is a member of the Episcopal Diocese of Dallas, and part of the national Episcopal Church. Find out what Episcopalians believe and more about our services and values at The Episcopal Church web site.
Staff are usually at the church on Monday/Wednesday/Friday afternoons from 1:00-5:00 pm, but please call before you come. Please see our contact information at the bottom of the page.
All baptized Christians are invited to participate in the celebration of the Holy Eucharist (communion). Gluten-free wafers are available. If you are new to the Episcopal church and would like a member to sit with you during a service, we would be pleased to do so; please ask an usher.
