A Prayer for our Rector Search
Loving God, be with us and guide us during this time of discernment as we seek our next rector.
Fill our leaders with your wisdom. Lead us, O Lord, to be about the work of your kingdom even as we search for a new priest. Bless all who have taken on extra responsibility and fill them with a sense of your love and presence.
Bless the priests we meet through this search with open hearts and upright spirits as, together, we seek your purpose. Help us learn—even in this time of uncertainty—to see the process of discernment as a conduit for your unfailing grace. Help us support one another with love, patience, and thankfulness as we continue the ministry of our beloved parish. Amen.
